Mr. Loughridge has over 40 years of progressive Design/Build and Design/Assist experience consisting of over 1,200 projects that span the southwest. Mr. Loughridge established SR in 1991 with the vision of creating a Design/ Build firm totally dedicated to client satisfaction. With that passion to ensure each client a positive journey, he created The “SR Built Process” which has truly differentiated SR from the conventional General Contractor. Responsible for the overall strategic and long range planning at SR, Mr. Loughridge also spends much of his time contributing his expertise to the Design and Preconstruction facet of the company’s projects.

Bret joined the firm in 2008, and currently serves as the Vice President of Operations. He successfully manages his team of highly qualified project managers, project engineers and project superintendents through the many phases of construction on projects ranging to $165 Million. Mr. Loughridge brings an extensive understanding of the entire construction process to his team from experience gained through his education and many years of exposure to the construction industry. He consistently meets the clients’ needs as well as meets and exceeds SR’s operational goals and corporate philosophies. Mr. Loughridge exemplifies the definition of team member and he and his team continually receive accolades from project stakeholders, consultants, bringing projects in on time and on budget, while delivering an enjoyable journey.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Mr. Smedley brings over 27 years experience in construction and real estate development, gained primarily as the controller of a successful general contractor/developer in New York. He is responsible for the accurate preparation of financial reports that summarize and forecast the company’s financial position. Mr. Smedley interfaces with senior management, operations, business development, and project management in reviewingand monitoring individual job progress and performance to assure the delivery of superior and cost efficient projects to their clients.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF PRECONSTRUCTION
With over 25 years of experience managing construction projects and construction project management teams in the healthcare, hospitality and office markets, Mr. Northrup brings perspective and expertise to both private and public sector construction projects of diverse sizes and types. He provides direct oversight and leadership for all preconstruction activities and is instrumental in leading all project action items, buyout, budgeting, scheduling and project performance analysis activities. Additionally, Mr. Northrup leads all estimating functions, subcontractor development activities, and provides input on all personnel decisions made by the executive team. While instrumental in the day-to-day management of various internal resources within the organization, Mr. Northrup also assists the executive team in providing strategic direction to all facets of the organization including managing consultants, contractors, internal company resources, design and project schedules, exceeding client expectations, and providing an enjoyable project delivery for every client.
VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING
With over 18 years of experience managing sales and 33 years of progressive experience in the business development and sales field, Bob brings the ability to branch out into new territories and divisions of the construction industry. He provides insight for building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals, maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions, and growing SR Construction’s customer base. Prior to joining SR Construction, Bob was the Business Development Manager over the course of 11 years between Robinson Construction and Helitech Civil Construction. Bob has spent much of his construction career in the Commercial and Industrial Processing industries, possessing extensive knowledge in both the General Contractor and Sub Contractor divisions. He has also held positions such as National Sales Manager and Sales Manager throughout his professional tenure. Bob is from St. Louis, Missouri and earned his B.S. in Agriculture (Agronomy) from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Mr. Harvey possesses 30 years significant construction industry experience in both northern and southern Nevada to include projects in the hospitality, healthcare and commercial industry. His demonstrated leadership abilities and educational background in construction management have proved most beneficial for clients of SR. Mr. Harvey is extremely knowledgeable with the many intricacies involved in working in 24/7 operational facilities and he has a keen understanding of the complete project life-cycle, strategic planning, scheduling, cost control. He has a demonstrated track record in maintaining an excellent rapport with the major stakeholders, project team, staff, and subcontractors while completing projects on time and within budget.
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Mr. Garcia brings over 25 years of construction management experience to the SR team. His leadership abilities helped transition SR into an organization recognized for its innovative approach to the design-build process. In 2012, Mr. Garcia relocated to the east coast to be closer to family, but remained integrally immersed with the company’s projects traveling extensively between the east and west coast over the next few years. He eventually accepted a position with Auburn University to help oversee their Construction Department for fifty projects ranging to $63 Million. Mr. Garcia has since relocated back to Nevada, working at SR’s Corporate Headquarters in Las Vegas. He currently serves in the role of Project Executive/Senior Project Manager allowing him to continue with his passion for SR and the construction industry working on a variety of projects ranging to $100 Million.
