For this employee spotlight, we are proud to highlight Robin Allen who currently serves as Project Manager.
What do you do during your day to day at SR Construction?
Day to day activities are: Coordinating information flows between the Owner/Design Team/Subcontractors/Field Personnel. Managing the budget. Processing changes. Managing the schedules.
What is one thing that makes SR Construction a unique company?
The usage of LEAN process that incorporates the pull plan process, a collaborative approach to scheduling that is utilized throughout the project and not just at the beginning. This allows for open, timely and constant communication by the team.
What are some recent projects you have worked on?
In mid-2017 we completed the Dignity Pavilion Medical Office Building and all of the tenant build-outs for Dignity Health, Quest and SDMI.
Earlier this year we complete the Elite Medical Center, near the strip. Currently, we are finishing up the Centennial Hills Skilled Nursing Facility that has a projected opening date in early 2019. We hope to break ground on the Sunrise Skilled Nursing Facility sometime in December.
Why do you like working at SR?
This is one of the nicest places I have ever worked. The people here are honest, pleasant and friendly.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I prefer to be outside during my free time. Hiking, backpacking, camping, kayaking. When not doing that, I am playing with my granddaughter and cooking.
