SR Construction Volunteer Day at Three Square

Published on: 4/1/2018

In 2017, SR, as a part of the Henderson Hospital team, conducted a Hard Hat Challenge that raised nearly $10,000 for the Henderson Senior Nutrition Fund. After the challenge, we continued our efforts with Henderson Hospital by partnering with FOX5 in two community charity events:  a blood drive that collected 131 units of blood for the American Red Cross, and the "Supply our Students (SOS)" school supplies drive that assembled more than 1,000 backpacks full of supplies for students in need. SR continues to dedicate their time and resources to volunteering within the community, and it has become an integral part of the SR company culture.

On Saturday, Aril 14, members of our SR team met up at Three Square and volunteered their time. They spent the morning learning about what Three Square does, getting a tour of the facilities, and helping pack produce and grocery items for local families.

Three Square is a charity organization in Southern Nevada that provides food assistance to achieve their mission of a hunger-free community. Our team members enjoyed spending their morning at Three Square lending a helping hand and learning more about this incredible organization. This was not the first time SR has volunteered with Three Square, and it most definitely won’t be the last. We enjoy dedicating time to Three Square in any way that we can, because we believe in their mission and support them in their efforts to fight to end hunger.

At SR we are committed to strengthening our community and putting a focus on opportunities to provide civic service when possible. SR Construction strives to not only give our clients the highest degree of quality and service on every project, but we also strive to provide for our community through building strong community relations and giving back.
