The Boulder City Hospital Gero-Psych and Rehabilitation project is the first of two phases completed for a major Boulder City Hospital expansion and renovation project. Phase I was comprised of a 3,250 square foot demo and renovation enhancement for a new rehabilitation wing to include: six patient rooms, nurse station, patient exam room, family/patient visiting room, dining room, bath training room and administrative office area. Phase I also consisted of the 5,585 square foot new building addition that was tied into the existing facility with minimal disruption to the facility’s on-going operation. The new gero-psych wing consisted of five patient rooms, nurse station, administrative offices, medical prep room, and dining room. Phase II is a 6,250 square foot expansion and renovation to the existing ER and a new Physical and Occupational Therapy new wing addition that commenced January 2014 and will complete August 2014.
