The Summerlin Hospital Medical Center Surgery Renovation project was comprised of a six phased 22,000 square foot demolition, addition and remodel to the hospital’s Surgery Department. The project consisted of the remodel and new building addition for two new OR suites that tied into 10 existing fully operational surgery suites. The new OR’s serve as a host to the fully integrated state-of-the art high tech da Vinci Surgical System. Additionally, the project included a complete remodel of a 24 bed PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), connecting hallway, storage area and nurse station; Patient Admitting and Testing space; 7 bed pediatric remodel; and 18 bed pre-op area.
