Building Better with BIM
SR is an active participant in the Building Information Modeling (BIM) authoring and coordination process, utilizing in-house capabilities and experience with Revit and Navisworks.
BIM is the process of generating and managing building data during its life cycle:
- SR works directly with the client, design team, and trade partners to develop a virtual 3D model, so drawings and plans accurately represent the project.
- The model is used at meetings for evaluation and coordination of all major trades during the construction life cycle.
- By leveraging the model information created during the design phase, we can realize direct and tangible benefits in the construction phase. The results? Minimized coordination time and manual checking, enabling the design team to have more time solving real architectural problems.
