In recent months, The Palazzo casino resort has undergone an incredible renovation that has included many changes and upgrades. The entire casino has been redone, including the casino space, the resort suites, and a variety of dining and entertainment options throughout the casino.
SR Construction was elated to be chosen as the general contractor for several renovation projects within the casino. SR Construction worked with the Sands Project team on the build of Bar Luca, the Rosina Lounge, the Electra Cocktail Club, and the Baccarat Salon and Private Gaming Salon remodel Casino Floor. For all of these projects, attention to detail was meticulous, and the results speak for themselves. We are incredibly proud of our team’s work for the Palazzo and love every finished product.
The Baccarat Salon and Private Gaming Salon project involved a fully operational gaming area, which introduced some challenges expertly mitigated, such as integration with guests, noise concerns, public safety, and strict scheduling milestones, which were critical to the resort and casino. The work consisted of the improvement of approximately 15,000 square feet gaming area. Upgrades included enhanced finishes to walls, ceilings, and floors, installing new crystal chandeliers, exquisitely gilded gold leafing, beautiful fabric panels, and elegant new custom carpeting. Both salons embody the opulent Asian allure, with imperial shades of red and gold.
The Bar Luca project consisted of the remodeling of a 1,730-square foot casino bar to include seating for 57 guests. Inspired by Italy’s iconic sophistication, with dramatic shades of gold and black, the bar also features a unique 3-dimensional floating metal ceiling. This intimate setting is a 24-hour full-service gaming bar located just outside the guest elevation area.
The new Rosina Bar is an elegant cocktail retreat, The Palazzo. Rosina embodies old-school allure with its Art Deco flair. Crystal chandeliers hang above maroon u-shaped banquettes on each side of the bar, and high-top tables accented by burgundy velvet chairs provide 65-seats in this cocktail sanctuary. Featuring solid brass molding and custom-shaped glass, the 1,100-square foot bar offers an intimate experience with a touch of class luxury. The Electra Cocktail Club is a 127-seat bar. It incorporates materials such as brass, granite, etched metals, custom wall coverings, and a chandelier with more than 1,200 points of light, offset by deep teal accents throughout the space. Large sofas provide seating in the room’s center, while custom lounge chairs with contrasting leathers and metallic trim line the perimeter. Brass high-top tables run parallel to the 40-foot-long Carrara stone mosaic and black absolute stone bar. A concave mirror is suspended with gold bands with faceted backlit crystals running around the ceiling’s entire perimeter.
As the general contractor for all of these incredible projects, it is amazing to see them come to fruition and providing a fresh and elevated experience to those who decide to explore the Palazzo. We are honored to have been allowed to showcase our skillset to our client, Las Vegas Sands, and we look forward to working with them again in the future.
